Diversity in Community

 Our strength as a community comes from our diversity. We must actively work to create inclusive environments where everyone has the opportunity to thrive, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or socioeconomic status.

Diversity should not be a word that divides us, but literally what brings us together. Diversity brings a vast array of ideas and points of view. Diversity breathes life into inclusion and inclusion breathes life into pride. Pride within our community franchises each individual to care and nurture the community of which they are in. 

Diversity and inclusion build strong communities for everyone by decreasing the sense of disenfranchisement and increasing the sense of pride. We should value a diverse community and drive out the exclusivity.
